Power washing contractors from all over America will converge on the Abner Doubleday field in Cooperstown New York on Thursday July 28, 2005 to power wash the historic 195,000 square foot complex as part of the Power Washers of North America's Clean Across America Campaign.

Each year the members of the PWNA help communities all across our nation by donating power washing services to neighbors in need. PWNA members from near and far will work together to complete this cleaning project.

The Doubleday Field stadium and complex will be power washed on Thursday July 28th, three days before the Baseball Hall of Fame's Induction Ceremony. This project is being coordinated by Mathew Johnson of Pressure Washing Services who has worked closely with Henry Bockman http://www.henryshousework.com  in Germantown, MD, the founder and chairman of the PWNA Clean Across America program and Tom Vogel of ACR Products http://www.acrproducts.com to plan this event.

The group has assembled the team of contractors and distributors listed below to help clean up any accumulated dirt and grime, mold, mildew from the grandstand, dugouts, along with several thousand square feet of concrete and several thousand linear feet of bleachers. August 21-22, 2006
PWNA members cleaned sections of the Jefferson and Lincoln memorials to remove years of discarded gum and food stains. This volunteer project encompassed a variety of obstacles for the group of power washers to overcome, including the use of environmentally-compliant cleaning methods and specialized equipment to meet the requirements of the Clean Water Act. The pressure washers participating in the project will employ professional-grade water reclamation systems and other equipment designed to stop runoff from reaching the Potomac River and the tidal basin. Almost a mile of hoses including the specially designed SpiraFlow hose, 50,000 gallons of water and 6 rigs were used by the group of power washers to clean the memorials.

Pictures of these projects can be seen on the following pages, they will take a while to load!
